2023 Oregon Super Lawyers© and Rising Stars

Congratulations to our 2023 Oregon Super Lawyers and Rising Stars! Smith Freed Eberhard is pleased to announce Jeff Eberhard, Paul Sheely, and Mike Staskiews have been selected for the 2023 Edition of Super Lawyers, a rating service of outstanding attorneys from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Additionally, two of our attorneys Sean Conner and Melanie Rose were recognized in the 2023 Edition of Super Lawyers Oregon Rising Stars.

Only five percent of attorneys receive the Super Lawyers honor, and only two and a half percent receive the Rising Stars honor. Super Lawyers recognizes extraordinary lawyers in the practice through a patented selection process that includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations.

To receive recognition from Super Lawyers, each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis. The objective is to create a credible, comprehensive, and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for attorneys and consumers searching for legal counsel.
