Melanie Rose Joins Smith Freed Eberhard Equity Partners

Partner Melanie Rose demonstrates 10 years of exceptional talent at Smith Freed Eberhard and joins the SFE Equity Partners in 2025.

Melanie acknowledges her colleagues for their integral role in getting her to where she is today. She says their mentorship and support allowed her to grow and develop as an attorney and to push herself to tackle things that intimidated her.

Melanie is based in our Portland, OR office and plays an integral role in the firm’s Commercial Liability Defense practice group.

Melanie is a litigator with a diverse civil litigation practice focusing on catastrophic injury, premises liability, automobile liability, dram shop/liquor liability, and commercial litigation. Melanie’s practice takes her all over the state of Oregon and into Southern & Eastern Washington regularly. She enjoys giving presentations on changes in Oregon and Washington law highlighting the Pacific Northwest’s unique legal landscape.
