Employment Update: Put ‘em Up – US DOL Mandatory Posters
From the desk of John M. Kreutzer: On August 1, 2016, the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division (WHD) issued a mandate requiring that all employers display the new Federal Minimum Wage and Polygraph Protection posters.
Recently, both the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and the Employee Polygraph Protection Act (EPPA) issued updated posters for the laws that came into effect this year.
Employers subject to the FLSA and EPPA (most private employers) must display both posters in a conspicuous place at each of their establishments where both employees and applicants are readily able to observe them.

Employers can download and print the posters from the Department of Labor’s website. Print copies and Spanish versions of the posters should be available for order soon.
