Expertise Overview

Tom is an experienced litigator with an extensive background handling civil litigation matters. From product liability and personal injury matters to sexual abuse or medical malpractice allegations, Tom’s reliability and dedication allows his clients peace of mind through what can prove to be a long and stressful process.

Not only has Tom defended numerous product liability matters that have resulted in early dismissals, successful settlements, and favorable jury verdicts, but also lends himself to favorable outcomes with sensitive suits involving healthcare providers and medical malpractice.

After handling this variety of complex cases throughout his career, Tom has proven to be an asset to the clients he works with and continues to show an endless drive in the pursuit for client success.

Relevant Cases

An illustration of Tom’s skill in the resolution of complicated claims can be found in his defense of one product liability case. The plaintiff alleged that a tire failed due to defect and caused damage to the plaintiff’s vehicle. After Tom aggressively defended the matter and demonstrated to the court that there was absolutely no evidence of a defect in the product, the result was a complete defense verdict for his client.

In one of Tom’s representations of a medical malpractice case, a surgical practice was being sued for an alleged negligent surgery that was performed by one of its surgeons. By utilizing strategic planning and careful execution, Tom was able to obtain a voluntary dismissal of the case on the eve of summary judgment.
