Prior to joining Smith Freed Eberhard, Matt managed the Oregon office of a multi-state law firm handling an active case load of hundreds of consumer collection cases at a time.  Matt started his legal career as a public defender where he obtained extensive experience taking cases to a jury verdict.  Through his legal career, Matt has appeared in cases in every county in Oregon.
