Jason Roberts is an associate attorney on the commercial liability defense and personal lines practice groups.
Jason graduated from Lewis and Clark Northwestern Law School in 2021. During his time in law school, Jason served as an associate editor on the Lewis and Clark Environmental Law Review. He was also a judicial extern to the Honorable Shelley D. Russell at the Multnomah County Circuit Court, and he spent one year clerking at the United States Attorney’s Office in Portland, Oregon. Prior to law school, Jason attended San Francisco State University where he graduated with a degree in political science in 2009.
Before joining Smith Freed Eberhard, Jason worked as a legal assistant and a paralegal for 7 years focusing on family law, class action litigation, and civil defense.
Jason grew up in San Diego and moved to Los Angeles after college where he lived and worked for 7 years before coming to Portland for law school.
