Starla Goff Named 40 Under 40 by the Portland Business Journal

Smith Freed & Eberhard announced that partner Starla Goff was named to the Portland Business Journal’s "Forty under 40" list for 2011. The 40 rising stars under the age of 40 were chosen based on their business leadership, recognition of accomplishments and community involvement.

The prestigious "Forty under 40" honorees were chosen out of several hundred nominations.  The honorees will be featured in a February special section of the Portland Business Journal.

Ms. Goff is active in several organizations in the Portland area including providing pro bono work for Blanket Coverage, a nonprofit group that offers assistance to the homeless elderly and mentally ill. She also provides aid and financial assistance to Evergreen Clinical, a nonprofit that provides low cost mental health therapy to homeless teens.

Ms. Goff represents her clients in a variety of litigation matters, including employment and business litigation, contract disputes, and partnership dissolutions. Starla's clientele consists of insurance companies, large corporations and entrepreneurial clients in external sensitive matters. She also provides personal counsel to executives and business owners.
