Smith Freed & Eberhard Promotes Three Attorneys to Partner

Smith Freed & Eberhard has announced that Lance Brooks, Anne Cohen and Sean Lanz have become partners in the firm, effective January 1, 2011.

Lance Brooks, Business Litigation and Commercial Liability. Lance Brooks has a diverse civil litigation practice in which he handles cases emphasizing business litigation disputes and commercial liability claims. Lance has had great success defending claims related to real estate, title and escrow disputes. 

Anne Cohen, Construction & Development. Anne Cohen has expertise in defending construction and development claims. She represents general contractors, developers, engineers and subcontractors in the defense of construction defect disputes.

Sean Lanz, Automotive Defense and Commercial Liability. Sean Lanz’s practice focuses on automotive defense and commercial liability claims. He defends against first and third party bodily injury cases in Oregon, including premises liability and slip and fall claims.
