Professional Experience
Matt’s civil litigation practice focuses on the defense of personal
injury claims, including toxic exposures, automobile liability, products
liability, and fraud claims. Prior to joining SF&E, Matt practiced
with another Portland law firm specializing in the defense of trucking
liability claims.
Significant Representations

Extensive experience defending commercial motor carriers in
multi-million dollar personal injury and wrongful death cases.

Extensive experience with all sorts of personal injury and
property damage claims.

Defense of claims involving alleged asbestos contamination
of a housing development and related enforcement action brought
by EPA.
