Professional Experience
Nicole heads up SF&E's subrogation department, where she manages cases involving recovery for fire damage, automobile claims, personal injury, and products liability. Additionally, Nicole is a member of Jeff Hansen's litigaiton team. Her practice emphasizes legal defenses in toxic tort actions, premise liability, and automobile liability. Prior to joining the firm, Nicole worked at a large Los Angeles health care law firm where her practice primarily consisted of defending complex medical malpractice claims.
Significant Representations
- Defense of claims involving alleged asbestos contamination of a housing development and related enforcement action brought by EPA
- Defense of various property actions involving property sale disputes, timber trespass, easement disputes, and earth movement issues.
- Extensive experience defending hospitals, medical groups, and individual doctors in multi-million dollar complex medical malpractice cases
- Experience providing insurance coverage interpretation and defenses.
