Jack has been litigating and arbitrating construction claims since 1993 and has a background in business transactions, government, environmental and real estate law.
Jack conducts trainings for insurance and construction professionals on litigation issues and risk management. Jack is a member of the Legislative Issues Committee of the Oregon Columbia Chapter of the Associated General Contractors.
Jack is the author of the Oregon Referee program for Construction Defect Disputes in Multnomah County and he has written and presented on a variety of insurance and construction coverage issues for CE and CLE credit. Jack is also the editor of Smith Freed & Eberhard’s Construction Defect Law Summary.
