Do You Have The Dedication And Commitment To Become An Elite Trial Attorney?
The Black Belt Trial Advocacy Training Program is an interactive workshop designed to sharpen and enhance an attorneys trial skills. The program is based on Herbert J. Stern’s, Trying Cases to Win advocacy series.
The program will benefit new and seasoned attorneys alike by providing them with proven and tested skills and tactics that can be used in the courtroom.
The first degree “Black Belt” can be achieved by attending the trial advocacy training sessions, team meetings, trial skills acting class and preparing and presenting two opening statements that will be given at the Gus Solomon Courthouse in front of a mock jury and review panel.
“The program has been a tremendous success and helped me to fine tune my trial skills,” said associate attorney, Lance Brooks of Smith Freed & Eberhard.
The program begins each October and lasts until May. The training program is available, free of charge, to all in-house counsel. For more information about the program including a schedule of events, contact Justin Wickizer, Director of Client Services, at jwickizer@smithfreed.com or 503-227-2424.
